Galleria Folio Demo in a Block Reference

Upgrading StuffI'm currently trying to get caught up on this site and the jQFX modules. Code changes in Drupal and in the Galleria plugin have led to some new bugs, so I'll be updating code in those for the next couple days. Please try out the Projekktor module if you get a chance.

Go to the drupal views jqfx project pages for module downloads. Please also use those pages to report bugs and feature requests. These are really simple modules to use and the readme files should spell things out quite well.

Nivo Slider Module now supports the link field. It works the same way that I set up the link field for ImageFlow.

Found and fixed a critical bug in imageflow and gave it a new feature.

More improvements were just made to the Galleria module. It keeps getting better.

Cloud Carousel converted to Colorbox.

The imageflow module was just updated. Opacity array and onClick function issues are fixed. With the onClick function being customizable it is possible to use this option to open imageflow links in a colorbox lightbox if the colorbox module is installed. The main menu tab above has a demo with custom image opacity and colorbox support. Being that colorbox already has a Drupal 7 version and it seems to have a ton of options I will probably make it the defacto lightbox for these modules.

I have posted a brief tutorial on installing the cloud carousel and added the files here

JQFX: This is just a very simple api that is necessary for the other modules to work. Just upload this to your module directory and enable it.

GALLERIA: Has its own page here

IMAGEFLOW: Imageflow also now has its own page here

NIVOSLIDER: Nivo-slider examples: http://www.lunarclips.com/nivoslider-thumbnails, http://www.lunarclips.com/nivoslider-buttons

Upload the module to your modules directory and enable it. Upload the nivo-slider plugin so that the directory structure looks like 'sites/all/libraries/nivo-slider/jquery.nivo.slider.pack.js' (download at: http://nivo.dev7studios.com/). Change the style setting in the view to jQFX for the options menu to appear. The 'title' tag of the image (not the node title) is displayed as the caption.

Nivo Slider will not display on webkit browsers (Safari and Chrome) with the current Drupal 7.0 core due to a bug in the core image module. To fix this problem refer to this thread: http://drupal.org/node/1129642

CLOUD CAROUSEL: This has its own page. See here

CYCLE: Cycle example: http://www.lunarclips.com/cycle-demo Upload the module to your modules directory and enable it. The jQuery cycle plugin needs to be installed at 'sites/all/libraries/jquery.cycle/jquery.cycle.all.min.js' for this to work (download at: http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/download.html). Change the style setting in your view to jQFX for the options menu to appear.

Note:

I cannot guarantee that the modules on this site are completely safe. That said, none of the jQFX modules here have ever caused a problem to any Drupal installation that I have used them on. That has been true even when I'm experimenting. Nothing here should give you an error notice or cause you to have to reinstall, fix your database, etc. I say that because I have used many Drupal 7 modules now that have screwed up my databases. However, good practice is to always backup data and experiment on a local server before employing anything on a production site.

If you have any problems please let me know so I can fix it.

Thank you to everyone who has worked on this!! Amazing, I am looking forward to getting some of these up on my site. I'm not a programmer but I've been working with Drupal for awhile--and I REALLY am grateful to all of you who are programmers and do all this great stuff!

I appreciate the kind words.

Hi James,
can you please check views_jqfx.tar.gz file?seems like it's broken tar. thanks

Seems like all the links above are broken tar file. any suggestion? thanks

The file system will sometimes rename them. Even though the file extension might say tar_0.gz it will still work.

I'm hoping to get these in the sandbox later today.

Notice: Undefined index: jqfx_type in views_jqfx_plugin_style_jqfx->options_form() (line 42 of /var/www/web48/html/bildredaktion/sites/all/modules/views_jqfx/views_jqfx_plugin_style_jqfx.inc).

If i select jqfx as style this error occures (non js views) and i cant save it.
Im using the imageflow version.
please help

I think something is whacked in your site installation, possibly a conflict with another module.  No part of your url should contain "slideshow_startseite".   I don't think the imageflow module is the culprit.  What other modules are or used to be installed in your site?  If I were to hazard a guess I would say that your database is messed up.  A lot of the D7 modules out there can do that.  See the first thing under 'Note' above.

Try it on a clean install.

An AJAX HTTP error occurred.

You don't have permission to access /admin/structure/views/ajax/display/slideshow_startseite/default/style_options
on this server.

This appears in a alert when i save the settings (slideshow_statseite is the view name)

I guess that explains "slideshow_startseite". You would have to give me more details though. The alert is telling you that it has a permissions issue.  I'm not sure that I can be of much help.  It still seems like it is due to something that is totally unrelated to the module.

Hi, this module work great (with nivo slider) but i have a problem. jQFX Nivo Slideshow work great on Admin mode but none on anonymous. I think it's the field image right, and i install cck with filed permission. but nothing worked. on anonymous i see the text (title) and the button but not the image (image field). any ideas ?

I have been on something of a vacation for a bit.  Sorry for the delay. A bug has been reported to me regarding Nivo Slider not always displaying under certain conditions.  I have not been able to duplicate this bug.  Please e-mail a link to the defective page so I can finally diagnose this problem.

You rock! Thanks for this great, user-friendly module!!

Hi!

Great module! When will it become an official project?

My only problem so far is that there is no width setting in the advanced settings, though jQuery Cycle supports it. I would need that...

Cheers,

Accidentally hit enter without providing my name...

Hi!

I managed to add the missing setting and it works. Where should I send a patch?

Cheers,
Gergely

I'm having a similar error here

jqfx_type in template_preprocess_views_jqfx() (line 51 of C:\Depot\Multimedia\WWW\sites\dynamic\D7\sites\all\modules\views_jqfx\views_jqfx.module).

Could you please elaborate your patch a little bit?

Hi
Thanks for the amazing modules.

I'm using Cycle plugin with views in Block. It sets default height to 450px. Tried to set it to 300 via Advanced settings - no luck.

interesting module for drupal but it is a style apple ImageFlow videos very interesting but this script I'll try at web design project I have in mind and I will discuss how to come Thank you for this article.

http://www.artesweb.es

When using Drupal 7 and IE8, the images do not rotate cleanly. It is kinda jumpy/delayed. When using FF or Chrome, the issue does not exist. Changing the opacity to 'TRUE' and setting the opacity array to '10' for all images does not resolve the issue. Any solution for this?

i can't get it work in horizontal alignment
how can i change the alignment from vertical to horizontal

What exactly isn't working in horizontal alignment?

I'm putting together a test site on my localhost using the template shown here: http://www.templatemonster.com/demo/33802.html.

The problem is: the left and right arrows do not show and the page does not transition.

I checked the Views and the Modules to make sure everything was turned on.

Please help...

Cam

Several months ago I myself purchased a template from these guys to save time building a site.

Lo and behold, I found that the 'secret' downloadable scripts to make the thing work contained my own modules. While I bought it because I was mostly concerned about saving time on templating and graphics design, it seemed ironic that part of my purchase was my own code.

The crummy part was that the packaged jqfx modules were literally the first unstable few day old versions that I put up on Drupal at a time when virtually no one knew they existed.

It took me a couple hours to do all the database and style sheet updates necessary to make everything work properly.  And suffice to say I have a little experience with this.

If you send me a link to your site I'll take a look.

However, I would suggest that you put them on the hook for technical support.

Best

I installed this galleria module and it is working fine in admin panel , but not coming in front only show ,
So please can you help me...

I need a bit more info to be able to offer any help. A link to the page and the version of the module that you are using would be a start.

Also, questions like this are better being posted on the issue page for the module.
http://drupal.org/project/issues/views_jqfx_galleria

Hey, thanks a million to all of you who have made this possible. I just installed it in my site and it works like a charm.

Good job!
